the congressmen, celebrities, and wealthy fanatics privileged enough to be within eye sight of Mr. and Mrs. Obama were fortunate to bear witness to the grandest Presidential Inauguration in our country's past. Michelle was looking rather regal today, eh? I dug the gold-green gown. Barack was visibly glowing from tamed mini-fro to shiny foot. i guess us americans are bloody accustomed to his speeches, beacause i hear the word on the streets is that he gave a dull, half-hearted inaugural oration. however, has this man not already spoonfed us chunks of his soul? how else could a people feel so connected to a politician? i watched his inaugural address and thoroughly enjoyed it. the statement that resonated with the crowd strongest had to be when he reminded us that just 60 years ago his father wasn't even able to be seated at a restaurant, and for us to look back how far we've come.
let's listen to cat power, smoke a cigarette or two and read more from memoirs of a geisha.
